Hajime Japanese Restaurant
Mar 30th
Just back from having nice dinner at this restaurant with a best friend. I always wanted to try the japanese food at this restaurant after listening so much good comments from colleagues. So here is it….

The environment really nice and comfort… I can’t take a nice photos on the restaurant environment so I din’t post it. The surounding really dark and i don’t want to use flash which might disturb others. ![]()

Well, these are the food we ordered… (Sorry that Photo 1 & 2 a bit blur
)
1. California handroll – RM 8.00 and spider temaki(soft shell crab handroll) – RM 10.00

2. Saba wit teriyaki sauce ( don’t really like it because it is a bit dry) – RM 20.00

3. California Cheese Maki – Rm 24.00

4. Hajime Lady Set – RM 55.00 (worth it as the set portion is big and serve with cawanmushi and desert)

Closer shoot on the lady set…
Fresh and nice sahshimi…. love it a lot…

Black sesame ice cream – I don’t really like it coz i dont like sesame…

.
Overall the food is nice.Too sad that there are only two of us else we can try more dishes…
Besides, Hajime also serve Fugu(河豚 : ふぐ,), the Japanese word for pufferfish.U can see it from Hajime’s logo.

Heard that pufferfish is lethally poisonous if prepared incorrectly and fugu is one of the most celebrated and notorious dishes in Japanese cuisine.Really wish to try it but it comes in season. Maybe try it next time…

Kampachi @ Pavilion KL
Mar 1st
Always heard about Kampachi buffet at Equitorial Hotel is very nice but haven’t got chance to try it.Last week,I went to this new opened restaurant at Pavillion with coulleagues and CTO(Eric) who came from Singapore. Although it is a bit expensive but the food really nice and worth a try ![]()

Temptating sushi photos in the menu.We took some time to decide what to order as all of the food look so delicious from menu!

The comfort and luxurious environment.

My manager(Ernest) is so happy when his food was served… keep asking us to take photo on it! His rice set: Gyu Katsu Don (RM35.00) with sliced beef, cawamushi and miso soup. All rice set served with fruits too.

Eric and MingWai ordered the same set which is Sushi Bento (RM42.00). It includes salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, grilled unagi, salmon sushi and etc. They said the sashimi really fresh and taste good in thick slices.

The set i choosed was Salmon rice set with Teriyaki sauce (RM32.00).The salmon is really juicy with teriyaki sauce!!

Set choosed by Nick was Saba rice set with Shioyaki (RM30.00)

These are the two side dishes for sharing.
This is the best among all–>>Rainbow Maki (RM32.00) (*Thumbs up*)

Recommended Kampachi Maki (RM48.00)

The portion of the rice set with the add on of side dishes really large for us !
Therefore we din’t ordered desert!! ![]()
Next time I must keep my stomach space for my favourite greentea with red bean ice-cream!
